06/10/2014 Bill Gates had met with two Monash students:  Jarrel Seah (CCS BMedSc(Hons) student) and Jennifer Tang (Pictured right) who developed an app that allows users to self-screen for anaemia by taking a ‘selfie’ of their eye.  Gates said that he could see a future version of Eyenaemia being used in developing countries, especially with pregnant women, since anaemia contributes to nearly 20 percent of deaths during pregnancy.
