Employment opportunity: Research Assistant HEW 5 casual appointment, up to 5 days/week
A
position is available for a Research Assistant to support three key
registries in the Transfusion Research Unit; the Aplastic Anaemia
Registry (AAR), the Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia Purpura registry (TTP)
and the Registry of Kidney Diseases (ROKD) which are housed in the
Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, based at the Alfred.
The
successful applicant will possess a degree in a relevant field, along
with research experience. Applicants with an Honours degree would be
well regarded. Applicants should have excellent attention to detail, the
ability to manage multiple projects, a high degree of flexibility and
be well organised.
The
Research Assistant will play an integral role in the development of the
registries in coordinating all ethics applications, reporting and
renewals, assisting with site recruitment and coordinating the
organisation of Steering Committee meetings. The Research Assistant will
also assist with the preparation of presentations and reports.
