Funding by MS Research Australia is enabling research at Monash University, leading to a better quality of life for people living with Multiple Sclerosis. Mr Jae Young Lee, PhD student, and Dr Steven Petratos are the first researchers in the field to identify the molecules being altered during MS, and how they are using stem cell therapy to limit the damage caused by the progressive forms of multiple sclerosis.
